“FU” is made from Japanese gluten. There are  various forms including the soft nama-fu (fresh gluten cakes), the crispy yaki-fu (baked mgluten cakes).

If you bake this Japanese gluten, it will be “YAKI-FU”(baked gluten cakes), If you steam it, it will be “NAMA-FU”(fresh gluten cakes).

“FU”  is low-calorie vegetable protein. It is highly nutritious and is ideal for dieting.

Since “Fu” itself is tasteless and odorless, it can be used for any dish in  the Japanese and Western cuisines.
